Abu Dhabi & Desert
The desert, with it's sand-filtered light, vast, barren hills and relative lack of visible life, is more impressive than I knew. Then there are the camels who are hilarious the way they peer out the corners of their eyes, pretending to be coy while you try to get close and take their picture but looking as if they are showing of their best profiles and their best grins. There are large, impressive buildings and infrastructure set within this unusual landscape and an eclectic mix of international people. I highly recommend a visit.

Nairobi and Masai Mara
I was incredibly privileged to spend some time in Kenya last month! The place was full of gems, some of which are shown in the following photos.
